Villa Nakhil
Situated in the rural village of Medinet Habu, facing the Theban mountains we welcome our guests in our shady villa. We offer 2 Queen-size double bedrooms each with a private shower room. Both have their own balcony, ceiling fan, table fan, tea/coffee making facilities, free toiletries, hairdryer and towels. It is possible to add a fold down single child's bed in either room, at no extra cost. Guests can also relax in a private living room as well as on a number of shady patios, including a roof terrace where you can admire the sunset over the Theban mountains. Barbecue facilities are available. Free wifi.
Our sweet/savoury buffet style breakfasts are legendary! All products are fresh and locally sourced. We like to offer our guests a selection of products not normally available in the big hotels. We also try to cater for any special requests .
The price is 25$ or 25€ per room/per night (780 EP) including breakfast; payable in any currency on site.

Felucca "Queen Janet"
The "Queen Janet" is a traditional felucca. It has been recently renovated and refurbished to the highest specifications - our guests safety and comfort are our concerns.
You will be welcomed on-board by our qualified captains who will offer you a complementary drink.
We can also organise lunch or sunset dinner trips - either barbecue or freshly delivered meals delivered directly to the felucca. Prices according to your menu.
Our captains speak English and Egyptian and are local to the area.
Please don't hesitate to ask them questions or for any information - they are friendly and knowledgeable and always willing to help.
The captain Sayed has extensive experience of overnight trips on the felucca - to Esna and Aswan. These trips are tailor-made according to the clients wishes. You can visit sites that aren't accessible by land and observe Egyptian village life from the comfort of the boat.

The price for 1 hour is $15, for 1 - 4 people.

Water Taxi "Lady Jane"
The Lady Jane is a private, traditional river taxi ferrying guests to and from the East to the West Bank.A standard one way crossing costs 50 Egyptian pounds. We also offer longer trips to Karnak Temple, Esna, Banana Island, Aswan ... as well as safe swimming trips May to October & the possibility to have lunch/dinner onboard.
